On his Instagram he goes all out on the program makers. He even says that as a viewer you are simply brainwashed by the program. Oh dear!

According to him, how Vincenzo and Debbie came across in the show was completely different from what happened in real life. Vincenzo writes: “In our case, situational manipulation was used to confirm the stereotypes.” Ouch, those are not nice words.
Slogging for hours? Not really!
Remember how in the program Vincenzo really seemed to spend hours, maybe even days, flattening the spot for the pool? Well, according to him, this is not true at all. He says, “Flattening the ground took two to three hours.” Seriously, while in the episode it looked like he was laboring with his shovel for days. And then the endless washing of baby clothes, something like that. “I regularly took the laundry to my mother, who lives about 12 kilometers from Nola. And I often went with Peppino to a nearby laundromat.”
No superwoman
And then Debbie. According to Vincenzo, the image that is painted of her is not accurate at all. “It is even believed that a full-time working mother can take care of the baby, clean the house, make dinner and do all the other daily chores while her partner lies in the sun.” Okay, he admits that his ex is a strong woman, but the way Debbie is portrayed is simply impossible, according to Vincenzo. “I agree that Debbie is a strong and capable woman, but when you think about it, that’s not even feasible.”
Breastfeeding in between
But didn’t we keep seeing baby Peppino on Debbie’s lap while she was busy at work? Yes, it was, but Vincenzo explains, “I brought the baby to her to breastfeed while she was at work.” Ah, that explains a lot. According to him, it is simply hard manipulation by the makers.
