As the twig is bent the tree is inclined!
A great moment for Prince Albert this week! He received a prestigious award from the French President, Emmanuel Macron. And oh yes, for such an important moment with the President of France, you also take your children to work, nun?
Prestigious price
Microstate Monaco and neighboring country France can of course hardly do without each other. Visits are regularly made to and fro, and Prince Albert often wants to take his lovely Princess Charlene or their twins Jacques and Gabriella along with him. Also this week!
Snapshots shared by the Palais Princier on Instagram last night show Their Serene Highnesses posing with their offspring next to President Macron at the Palais de l’Élysée. Here Albert receives a badge from the French politician, because of ‘merits in agriculture’.

“This award ceremony took place in the presence of SAS Princess Charlene, HRH the Princess of Hannover, Crown Prince Jacques, Princess Gabriella, and various Monegasque and French personalities,” the images read.
In addition to the princely family, Princess Caroline was also present at the ceremony, and she was seen beaming proudly next to her brother in the photos.
Stylish Grimaldis
Naturally, the Monegasques dressed in business chic for the occasion. Charlene wore a light pink suit with a tartan motif, which she combined with a set of beige pumps and a simple white blouse. Princess Caroline, in turn, wore a black and white ensemble, which of course included a Chanel bag. And don’t blame her!
The twins also matched sweetly with their parents. For example, Gabriella wore a light outfit with her Dolce & Gabbana jacket and beige mules for the meeting with the French president. Little Jacques wore a tight blue suit, with tie and all, just like his father. Learned young, done old!
