In the last season of Temptation Island, the audience was introduced to the sparkling Iris de Waard. As a nail artist, she shares her passion on TikTok and also showed her best side during her participation in Miss Netherlands 2024. But that’s not all, because Iris has another talent in store: she announces her very first single!
Debut single
It will come as no surprise to her loyal followers that Iris also has a fantastic singing voice. She regularly surprised with her singing skills on TikTok, but now it is time for her own song. Lately, she has already treated her fans to some sneak peeks of her debut single.

The tension is rising, because Iris finally reveals when her song will be officially released: June 1 on Spotify. “Put it in your calendar,” she writes enthusiastically with the announcement. As the icing on the cake, she also shares a video in which a part of the song can be heard.

Iris and Mitch during Temptation Island
Although Iris left the villa with Mitch as a fiancée in Temptation Island 2023, their fairy tale took an unexpected turn. Last summer they suddenly announced on Instagram that they had split. Mitch soon confessed that he had cheated and even stayed with the other lady under the guise of ‘time and rest for Iris’. Iris, in turn, shared her heartbreak with her followers on Instagram. Fortunately, she is now doing well again and remains ‘nicely single for the time being’.
