Meghan Markle has not been idle behind the scenes. She has been busy with her own brand, called American Riviera Orchard. It was already known that it was a brand with items for in and around the home, but now we also know which products the ex-princess worked on for so long.
The Tig
Six months ago, there was plenty of speculation that Meghan would restart her lifestyle blog The Tig. The period in which she ran her blog seems like a lifetime ago. She pulled the plug when her relationship with Prince Harry became more serious. However, when Meghan and Harry were no longer working royals for some time, it was thought that the Duchess of Sussex would revive her blog.
Nothing turned out to be further from the truth. Instead, Meghan was busy with a completely different, just as fun project, her own brand: American Riviera Orchard!

It is not news that American Riviera Orchard will focus on items for around the home. But it gets even better: a trademark application shows that Meghan plans to also sell food, such as jams, nut butters and all kinds of other delicious spreads. She will also reportedly offer tablecloths, glasses, cutlery and cookbooks.
But that’s not all, because The Daily Mail recently reported that American Riviera Orchard will be selling even more goodies. According to the tabloid side, we will soon also be able to score various cosmetic products, such as body lotions, make-up, skincare, hair care and perfume.
Items for animals
So you could describe Meghan’s brand as a kind of very fancy – and most likely also much more expensive – HEMA. Page Six goes a step further on the Daily Mail’s findings, claiming that American Riviera Orchard will even start selling products for our four-legged friends. According to the British magazine, Meghan releases dog food, bowls, collars and cozy baskets for our furry friends.
What exactly the brand will focus on remains to be seen. But one thing is certain that Prince Harry’s wife is busy. According to some source, Meghan has been working on the brand for more than a year. “These are all things close to her, things she is passionate about,” Page Six writes. In any case, we are very curious!
