His little brother also had a great time.
While many royals pride themselves on letting their offspring grow up out of the spotlight as much as possible, some other royal families prefer to drag their offspring everywhere. This also includes the Luxembourg Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie. In any case, we love these ultra-sweet shots!
Christmas spirit
While we were initially still busy with the Good Saint and his shoe presents, the Christmas spirit has already started in many places. This also applies to the mini-state of Luxembourg! Here the crown prince family, together with their sons Charles and François, visited the Fondation Kraïzbierg in the town of Dudelange for a true ‘Winter Wonderland’.
Of course, this wasn’t just a fun trip – no! The festively decorated location was partly set up by people with disabilities, who are supported by the Kraïzbierg Foundation.
Little princes grow up
Not only the Grand Ducal couple made an appearance here, but they also brought their two sons along, and they had a great time judging by the photos. The caption also reads: “Their Royal Highnesses discovered here the hard work that people with disabilities had put into preparing the festivities and the nice gifts that could count on Prince Charles’ attention.” How sweet!

The images show how the three-year-old is having a great time with all the beautiful Christmas decorations, and what is especially striking is that the little one is growing like crazy! It is of course also the first time for Charles that he will celebrate Christmas as big brother of little François. The youngest Luxembourg sprout was also allowed to go with his parents, and appears in various photos comfortably on his mother’s arm, or cuddling with his father.
Moreover, we spot that the little one is already being introduced to the phenomenon of ‘shaking hands’. Although he seems to find it all a bit scary, he obviously has to get used to this as the third in line to the Luxembourg throne. You can’t start early enough!
