Everyone suffers from bags under the eyes sometimes. We prefer to reduce those dark circles under the eyes as quickly as possible. These tricks can help you with that:
1. Get enough sleep
Although it is logical, we still mention this tip. The most important thing you can do to prevent bags under your eyes – instead of getting rid of them – is to sleep at least seven to eight hours a night. If you don’t sleep enough, you will quickly look pale and your bags will become noticeable.
2. Cold spoon
Do you look in the mirror in the morning and see giant dark circles under your eyes? Place a cold spoon on it. The cold will cause the blood vessels in your skin to contract, draining moisture. After all, bags under the eyes are partly made of moisture. Put your spoon in the freezer or in the refrigerator for a while before placing the rounded side on the wall. You can also use ice cubes. Wrap the ice cubes in a cloth before placing them on your eyes.
3. Watch your diet
Do you often suffer from bags under your eyes? Perhaps you should pay more attention to your diet. Potassium is a mineral that helps reduce puffiness. Potassium is found in fruits (banana, plums, grapes, kiwi, melon) and vegetables (spinach, mushrooms, broccoli and beets).
4. Potato
Potatoes can also help you reduce the circles under your eyes. Cut potatoes into slices and place on each eye and slice. Leave the discs on your eyes for more than fifteen minutes. Potatoes contain enzymes, this protein ensures that the skin becomes slightly lighter. Thanks to the potato, your bags under the eyes are a lot less visible.
5. Tea bags
Don’t throw away your used tea bags right away. Allow two tea bags to cool after use and then place them on your bags. Leave the bags on your eyes for a moment. Thanks to the caffeine in the tea, the skin is strengthened, which reduces swelling under your eyes. So you must use tea bags that contain caffeine.
6. Cucumber
Cucumber slices will also help you get rid of your bags. Place cucumber slices on your bags and leave for about ten minutes. Cucumber has a cooling and soothing effect, which reduces puffiness and discoloration.
