These things should not be missing from your Easter breakfast table

This weekend is Easter! This means that you can organize a super nice breakfast for your family and/or friends. But what really shouldn’t be missing from the Easter breakfast table? These are our absolute must haves for a successful Easter breakfast.

An egg on the side

Eggs are indispensable at Easter. These should therefore be on the table during Easter breakfast. But an egg can take many different shapes. You can boil an egg, fry it, stir it, poach it, stuff it, there are endless options. So be creative this Easter and make different variations of your favorite egg dishes. For vegans, eating an egg at Easter is not really an option, or is it! Vegan egg substitutes are also a thing these days. This way you can also involve vegans in your egg-rich Easter breakfast (or spice it up for yourself if you are vegan yourself).

Cute rabbit shaped snacks

At Easter we naturally think of bunnies in addition to eggs. At many supermarkets you can get many different snacks in the shape of bunnies at Easter. Think of different buns or even butter in the shape of bunnies. But of course you can also make it yourself. For example, get dough to make cinnamon rolls and fold them into a bunny shape before baking them for a unique addition to breakfast.

Easter bread

During the holidays, festive stollen is simply indispensable. The same applies to this weekend! Easter bread or Easter stollen simply belongs on the breakfast table. Tip: spread salted butter on your Easter stollen!

Fresh fruit

In the spring we can again enjoy more fruit that is now in season. The Easter breakfast table should include an assortment of fresh fruit. Think of strawberries for example! You can also use these in tasty dishes such as muffins.

Freshly squeezed juices

And last but not least, you cannot organize an Easter breakfast without some fresh juices. Orange juice is the obvious choice here. If you are organizing an Easter breakfast or brunch, you can also make mimosas with this! You can also make smoothies for your Easter breakfast. For example, think of smoothies with cheerful colors such as orange, pink or purple. This way you make your Easter breakfast not only fun, but also healthy.
