The princess was dressed in her Christmas best!
In recent times, it seems that things are going better and better for Her Serene Highness, as we see Princess Charlene of Monaco making her appearance more and more often at all kinds of glamor events. This was also the case last weekend – without Prince Albert, but with a good dose of glitter.
Christmas angel
Ho ho ho! Princess Charlene posed on the red carpet last weekend for the Bal de Noël – an annual gala organized by her own charity organization. Dine in a glamorous atmosphere for a good cause and at the same time dress up in your Christmas best? This produces quite a few cheerful snapshots of the Highness who is clearly having a good time.

She poses next to her brother and sister-in-law and none other than Santa himself in a beautiful silver dress covered from head to toe with thousands of sequins. She wore a set of silver Gianvito Rossi heels and an equally silver clutch from the Bella Rosa label. Radiant like a Christmas angel!
Of course, the accommodation was also completely decorated in a Christmas atmosphere. And they know that in Monaco no work is done by halves:

With fairytale Christmas lights, pink lighting and circus entertainers, this looks like a very atmospheric evening out.
Charity
As befits a highness in the context of noblesse oblige, this gala was entirely dedicated to charity. For example, an auction was organized by Sotheby’s auction house, with all proceeds going to the Fondation Princesse Charlène de Monaco.
On Instagram, the Palais Princier shares some more images of the evening, explaining that the ball was dedicated to Prince Rainier’s centenary.

“An auction organized by Sotheby’s raised money for the Princess Charlene of Monaco Fund and its projects to prevent drowning and educate children through sporting values,” the Prince’s Palace said.
Solo
Although Charlene attended the Bal de Noël on her own, she showed herself to be quite united with her husband earlier in the weekend. Then they organized the official opening of the Monegasque Christmas market.
It was also stated at the time that their twins, Princess Gabriella and Prince Jacques, were unfortunately not feeling well. Therefore they stayed at home on this happy occasion. We guess that this could also be the reason why Albert did not show up at the Christmas gala: someone has to look after the kids, nun?
