Queen Máxima opened the Social-Cultural Centre De Basis this afternoon. In this centre, residents of Soesterberg can meet each other, share ideas and develop initiatives.
Queen Máxima opened the socio-cultural centre together with the initiators. She was then given a tour of various activities and services, such as the library, a music lesson and a painting course. The origin and importance of a meeting place of its own in Soesterberg were discussed with initiators, volunteers and users of the centre. Finally, De Basis presented a number of activities outside.
Fashion
For the festive opening, Máxima pulled out a well-known dress by Natan. The white design is not woven or printed, but stamped. So no stamp pad, but a stamp dress.
