Do you ever have days when you really don’t know what to cook for yourself? There are so many options and you just don’t know what you’re in the mood for. In addition, cooking also costs too much energy. We come to the rescue. These are three easy and quick recipes for when you really have no inspiration!

Recipe #1: Salmon with honey-soy marinade

What do you need? (for two portions)

  • Two salmon fillets
  • A tablespoon of olive oil
  • Four cloves of garlic
  • Two tablespoons of finely chopped ginger
  • Half a tablespoon of red pepper
  • 80 ml soy sauce
  • 100 grams of honey

This is how you make it:

  1. Place your salmon fillets in a sealable plastic bag or in a bowl.
  2. In a small bowl, mix all the ingredients for the marinade, this is everything except the salmon itself and the olive oil.
  3. Pour half of the marinade over the salmon and save the other half for later. Now let the salmon marinate in the refrigerator for at least half an hour.
  4. Now take a pan and heat it over medium heat with the olive oil. Fry the salmon fillets for two to three minutes on one side and turn them over. Fry them on the other side for one to two minutes.
  5. Now remove the salmon from the pan and add the remaining marinade. Heat this until it thickens a bit and looks more like a sauce.
  6. Serve the salmon with the sauce and some vegetables.

Recipe #2: Wok noodles with vegetables and garlic

What do you need? (for four servings)

  • Two tablespoons of neutral oil
  • Five cloves of garlic
  • Four spring onions
  • Two carrots
  • Two tablespoons of caster sugar
  • Three tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 250 grams of rice noodles

This is how you make it:

  1. Start by cutting your vegetables. Finely chop the garlic, cut the carrot into thin strips and chop the spring onion into small pieces.
  2. Now heat your oil in a wok and add the garlic and three quarters of your spring onion. Fry this for two to three minutes. Then add your carrot, caster sugar and soy sauce.
  3. In the meantime, cook your rice noodles.
  4. As soon as your rice noodles are ready, you can put them in the wok and mix everything well.
  5. Serve your noodles with the remaining spring onion and you’re done!
