Jan and Rianne from Boer Zoekt Vrouw are over the moon! They have become the proud parents of a baby girl. The new addition to the family is their third child, and she only got her name in the hospital.
Jan and Rianne have become parents again
Jan and Rianne from Boer Zoekt Vrouw have good news! The couple welcomed a baby girl. The child was born four weeks prematurely. This made the delivery quite exciting, but despite the early birth, the baby is doing well according to the couple. Jan and Rianne told KRO-NCRV that their newborn daughter was only given a name after she was born. They had not yet thought of a name for her. In the end, they decided to call their newest child Jinte.
“It was so difficult, because you want the name to be easy to pronounce in Danish. We also really liked Suus, for example, but you pronounce it more like Soes here. In the end, we chose the name Jinte. A Frisian name, just like Siem and Melle.”
According to the couple, the delivery went quite quickly. “Jinte also had the umbilical cord around her neck five times, but fortunately that was never life-threatening. She drinks well, grows well, and I am also doing better and better.”
Moving to Denmark
The fact that the name of the newest child is easy to pronounce in Danish is very important to Jan and Rianne. They have chosen to emigrate with the entire family. They bought a dairy farm in the Scandinavian country. In the spring of 2021, the family moved and so Jinte is now completely Danish. In an episode of Onze Boerderij In Europa, Yvon Jaspers traveled to Denmark with the couple. Here they visited Sjaak and Jacqueline, who had already chosen to travel to Denmark four years earlier. They were there to gain inspiration for their own farm on Texel, but also to see whether a move of their own might be an option for the family. And the answer turned out to be yes! “I’m going to think about it and go home with a full head,” Jan said at the end of the episode.
In addition to the newest child Jinte, the family of Farmer Jan and Rianne consists of sons Melle and Siem.
