B&B Full of Love really?
Moving to another country to start a B&B is already a daring step. Combining that with a love affair, yes, that takes courage. How wonderful it is to find the love of your life, who then also becomes part of your life as a B&B owner. Yet people doubt the authenticity of the program. Why? For example, singer Frans Duijts does not think that the B&B owners participate to find love, but purely to promote their B&B.
Celebrities who doubt the authenticity
“I think advertising for their company plays a big part in it,” says Frans. Frans does say that he has never seen the program, so he has no idea whether they have found love in the past. Well Frans, we can tell you that they have, just look at Debbie and Paul and Joy and Dani from last season for example.” In any case, they have had a lot of advertising for their B&B,” adds Frans.
Marijke Helwegen also has her doubts about the authenticity of the program. She thinks that the participants mainly participate for the publicity of their B&B. “And if they find a woman or man, that’s a bonus. I don’t believe that they meet the love of their life in such a short time.”
Love found
Opinions on the authenticity are divided, because we also see that a number of B&B owners have found love. For example, Astrid and Harmjan from season 2 are still together and even married to each other. Fenna and Martijn from this same season are also still together. As we mentioned before, Debbie and Paul, and Joy and Dani from the previous season (season 3) are also still together. Bram from season 3 did not find love with the ladies who came before him, but he did find love with a lady who came to visit Joy. Esra and Bram are still a couple. Cute!
