She appears confident as usual! As the eldest daughter of King Felipe (55) and Queen Letizia (51), Princess Leonor (18) will one day ascend to the Spanish throne. Until then, the royal offspring will take on more and more royal tasks. She even started training at the military academy last summer – and swapped her chic clothes for a uniform. Now Leonor is appearing for the first time this year – in her military uniform!
This is what the current pictures from Spain show: As part of an official event, the 18-year-old appears alongside her parents on Saturday in the Royal Palace in Madrid. There, Leonor greets various members of the armed forces in her uniform. But Felipe and Letizia are also impressive: While the 55-year-old looks very elegant in his parade uniform, his wife shines in a satin top and a floor-length black skirt.
Just a few months ago Leonor celebrated her 18th birthday. On this special day, too, she proved how dutiful she is – because instead of making a fool of herself like other teenagers her age, Leonor’s special day was associated with royal duties. Together with her parents and her younger sister Princess Sofía (16), the heir to the throne went to the House of Representatives in Madrid – on the podium in the plenary hall, Leonor then swore an oath of loyalty to the constitution.
