We can’t wait anymore!
Monica Geuze shared the news at the end of October that she was looking for the new Bachelor. A month later she made another appeal, but this time to all interested single ladies to sign up for this love adventure. But guess what? For the first time in the Dutch history of the iconic love fairy tale, not one, but two men go in search of their great love. Wait, what?!

“Dear ladies, we have found the ideal man,” Monica shared in a video on Videoland’s Instagram account at the time. “Sweet, nice, funny, attractive, sexy, successful. Really, really, the whole package.” With this text, the presenter naturally made us very curious about the new Bachelor. And in a new video she finally announces him, or should we say ‘their’?

Two men
Fans of the extremely popular program can prepare themselves for a romantic spectacle like never before. Where normally only one Bachelor (or Bachelorette) takes center stage, we now witness the search for love of no fewer than two charismatic men. This season, the idyllic beaches and balmy evenings of paradise Zanzibar provide the perfect backdrop for romance. The presentation is again in the hands of Monica Geuze.
“Two men embarking on this romantic adventure: that means twice the adventure and a double dose of romance. I can’t wait to assist Paul and Rien in their search for true love from beautiful Zanzibar. The recordings have just started and I can already tell you: this season will be unforgettable!”, says an enthusiastic Monica.
But, since you are probably very curious, we will briefly introduce the men to you:
Paul
Paul is a top lawyer and through his work he attends the most flamboyant and exclusive parties. Yet he most enjoys an Amsterdam pub or a fun festival. For Paul, his family is the most important thing and he prefers to travel all over the world with his sister. He seems to have everything, except the love he craves. Paul is looking for a woman with whom he shares his view on life and with whom he can laugh: someone who is different from others and who colors outside the lines.
Rien
Rien’s life seems like one big fairytale: he lives in Ibiza, takes a fresh morning dip in the sea every day, is a real estate entrepreneur and is sweet and adventurous. He knows all the romantic spots on the island inside out and is eager to immerse his future love in the ultimate island life. Rien is attracted to various types, but mainly checks whether they click on a soul level. After all, he is looking for the mother of his children.
How nice that we can now enjoy twice as much romance?! ‘The Bachelor’ can be streamed weekly from March 7, exclusively on Videoland. We can’t wait anymore!
