Brandon Sklenar Speaks Out on ‘It Ends With Us’ Drama

The movie ‘It Ends With Us’ has been out for a few weeks now, but one thing that’s been getting more attention than the movie itself is the amount of drama surrounding it. Actors Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni don’t seem to be getting along. Now, co-star Brandon Sklenar has spoken out about the drama too!

Brandon Sklenar speaks out

The drama surrounding ‘It Ends With Us’ has been going on for a while now. On August 19, actor Brandon Sklenar, who plays Atlas in the film, decided to speak out for the first time about what he thinks about what’s going on. In the statement he posted on Instagram, he stated that he wants to discuss “all this stuff swirling online.” He is most likely referring to the rumored feud between his co-star Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively. The two allegedly disagree about certain creative choices that were made in the film. Fans previously noticed that Blake Lively does not follow her co-star on Instagram. The two have not been spotted together on the red carpet of the film’s premiere since the film was released. They have never been interviewed or photographed together to promote the film since then. When asked about Baldoni in an interview with Lively, the subject is quickly avoided, yikes!

“The women of this cast stand for hope, perseverance, and for women choosing a better life for themselves,” he writes. “Vilifying the women who put so much of their heart and soul into making this film because they believe so strongly in its message seems counterproductive.” So it looks like Brandon Sklenar is on Blake Lively’s side.

The film ‘It Ends With Us’ is based on the book of the same name by Colleen Hoover. The book is about domestic violence and abuse in relationships. In his Instagram post, Sklenar tagged several people who are related to the film. Lively and Hoover were both tagged, as were two other actresses from the film. A tag for Justin Baldoni did not appear.

“What may or may not have happened behind the scenes does not and hopefully should not detract from what our intentions were in making this film,” Sklenar further wrote in his statement on Instagram. “It’s been disheartening to see the amount of negativity being projected online.”
