It’s going around the world again. Last year, King Charles III. (75) has already made some important state visits abroad, but due to the adjustment phase, king comparatively still held back. Things will look very different in 2024, because both the monarch and the royal family will be globetrotters again. Charles and his family are traveling to these countries in 2024…
The first royal trip has already taken place: Princess Anne (73) visited Sri Lanka with her husband to mark the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Great Britain. Charles and his wife Camilla (76) are scheduled to fly to Canada in the spring. The couple last went there on a short tour in 2022. At the same time, according to the Hello! Magazines for Prince William (41) and Princess Kate (42) go to Italy. This would be the heir to the throne’s first state visit with his wife to the Mediterranean country. It is also believed that Anne, as a member of the International Olympic Committee, will travel to the Olympic Games in Paris in the summer – perhaps even accompanied by her family.
Charles’ probably biggest state trip this year – the visit to Australia and New Zealand – has not yet been scheduled. And as part of this long-distance trip, the 75-year-old is also scheduled to take part in a meeting of all Commonwealth heads of government in October. This is a special event because it only takes place every two years.
