Annebel Visscher is proud of herself
In a video with recent highlights, Annebel writes the following words on Instagram: “After a stressful period with many ups and downs, it is now time to step out of my comfort zone and go to Bali alone! I am typing this now from Schiphol and I can tell you: IT FEELS GREAT! I’m really proud of how I’ve done this lately, because it was really a lot period is over and all kinds of new things have come my way. Everything happens for a reason, I always think… THE NEW BEGINNINGS HAVE BEGUN!”

Heartbreak strikes
Although Annebel remains positive, she admits that the break-up is difficult for her. Visscher regularly says on social media that he suffers a lot from heartbreak. “I didn’t think it would be so hard to be alone. I don’t hear many people talking about what it’s like to get out of a relationship after eight years or longer and then have to do everything cold turkey all at once. I just miss being together and things like that. But yes, everything happens for a reason,” she says candidly.
Power Couple: a harbinger?
In the Power Couple program we see Annebel and René as a strong team, both physically and mentally. Yet there were also signs that not everything was rosy in their relationship. René’s dominant attitude sometimes caused Annebel to feel insecure, something that did not go unnoticed by the other participants. They regularly stood up for Visscher.
