Guido Maria Kretschmer (58) has to cope with another terrible loss. The designer announced in the summer that his father Erich had died at the age of 87. In the midst of a time of great sadness, he then had to worry about his mother – because Marianne was suffering from dementia. Now the TV star also has to say goodbye to his second parent: Guido’s mom is dead.
The Shopping Queen protagonist is now making this known on Instagram. He writes emotionally about several photos of his mother: “A week ago today my beloved mother followed my father to heaven.” Marianne was one of the most tolerant people he had known and “a free soul”. “She has shown me love, kindness, appreciation and understanding throughout my life and has never expected anything from me except for me to be happy,” explained Guido.
