Amy Robach (50) remembers a major setback. In November 2013, the presenter was diagnosed with breast cancer during a television program. The early diagnosis meant she was able to act quickly – the news anchor had her breasts removed and underwent eight rounds of chemotherapy. The last treatment was in April 2014 and she has been considered cancer-free since March 2022. But the diagnosis still wakes us up today Amy Fear of death.
In the “Amy and TJ Podcast” she and her partner TJ (46), the 50-year-old explains that every possibility of healing, no matter how small, means an incredible amount to a cancer patient. But she also emphasizes: “When you live your life knowing exactly that your greatest fear could actually come true, it’s paralyzing in some moments.” Amy thought she was going to die at the time. Every six months, when she goes for checkups, these worries come back. “You’re still wondering how much time you have left,” adds the man at her side.
Amy and TJ have been through quite a lot together. They were in front of the camera together for “Good Morning America” for a long time. But when it was discovered that they were having an affair, they were fired. Today they are a happy couple – just like their ex-partners. Because even Amy’s Ex-husband and TJ’s ex-wife are said to have fallen for each other after the divorce.
