Aleksander Aamodt Kilde (31) is apparently in the best of hands. The winter athlete had a serious skiing accident last weekend. He went off the track during a race in Wengen, Switzerland, and crashed into a fence. He is said to have lain motionless in the snow for several minutes and was finally taken to the hospital by helicopter. Get there Alexander now visiting from his girlfriend.
The ski racer published two photos on Instagram that showed him alongside Mikaela Shiffrin (28) show. His loved one leans over to him on the hospital bed and smiles slightly into the camera. Alexander has a tube on his face and wounds on his nose, mouth and chin. He was “patched up”, but thanks to his partner he was still in a pretty positive mood: “I’m here and I’m being supported by the one and only Mikaela Shiffrin “His sport can be brutal, but he still loves it.
Alexander and Mikaela have been a couple for around two and a half years. “When you know it, you know it – and now you know it too!”, the Norwegian announced in June 2023 in a series of sweet couple photos on Instagram. The multiple World Cup winner and the US skier had previously been friends for years.
