The German actress Sandra Hueller had already proven her talent in a number of films in her career – in 2016 she played the role of Ines Conradi in the film “Toni Erdmann” and was awarded the European Film Prize for it. Last year, the 45-year-old took on two more roles and even caused a stir internationally. Has now Sandra (45) won a prestigious film critics’ award!
More specifically, the Suhl-born actress won the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award for best actress in the films “Anatomy of a Case” and “The Zones of Interest,” as was now announced on X. The winners of the award are chosen once a year by a US association of 60 recognized film critics. This trumped Sandra Even the Hollywood celebrity Emma Stone (35) – the “La La Land” actress was nominated for the fantasy comedy “Poor Things”.
For Sandra There’s a good chance she’ll take home another prize – the Golden Globe, which will be awarded on the night of January 8th. In November, CBS announced that she had been nominated along with five other actresses for the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Motion Picture Drama category.
