Christine Theiss (43) is the figurehead of The Biggest Loser. For fifteen seasons she has been supporting people on their way to a healthier life on the weight loss show. The show goes into another round on January 8th with the usual old name. However, there is one change: the kickboxing world champion will now take on a new role – that of coach for the candidates. Is glad Christine to her new task in the “Biggest Loser” camp? Glamial asked.
In an interview with Glamial, the presenter makes her anticipation clear: “I’m really up for this challenge. At the same time, of course, there’s a lot of respect involved.” The reason for this is a very specific person, because as a coach Christine be in a direct battle with coaching legend Ramin Abtin (51). But as she reveals, she has already drawn up a “timetable in her head” for the challenge ahead. “It’s the art […]”To continually adjust the load so that the participants can get the most out of themselves without completely overtaxing themselves,” explains the 43-year-old.
Although the new role will certainly be unusual for the former camp manager at first, she is looking forward to the task. “Personally, I think it’s great that I’m even closer to my protégés,” reports Christine Glamial and adds: “As a trainer, I can have much more influence on the fate of each individual.”
