Now it is official! In less than a month it will be that time again: the stars and starlets of the German celebrity world venture into the Australian bush to live in a jungle camp for two weeks and face one or two tests. After Heinz Hoenig (72) and Cora Schumacher (47) had already been confirmed as candidates, fans speculated heavily. A few minutes ago RTL apparently accidentally published the participants. But now it’s official: the broadcaster confirms the cast of the new season!
The official confirmation now follows on the station’s official Instagram account. “A scream is worth 1,000 words! From Friday, January 19th, we’ll be welcoming you live from Down Under every day!” says a post in which this year’s candidates are officially introduced once again. Viewers can look forward to, among other things, Kim Virginia Hartung (28), David Odonkor (39) and Felix von Jascheroff (41) are happy.
However, fans’ opinions are mixed. “And where are the stars?” asks one user ironically, while another writes: “For God’s sake, one is worse than the next!” A third viewer complains: “Kinda boring cast, let’s see what happens…” Others are enthusiastic. “Oh my God! What an awesome cast is this?” or “Next year is a must” are just some of the numerous comments.
