Cathy Hummels (35) looks back on a stressful time. The presenter and Mats Hummels (34) went through life together for 13 years – seven of them as a married couple. But their love was not to last: the two officially divorced on December 19, 2022. Although they continue to pull together for their son Ludwig, the wounds of the separation are still deep. Told quite openly Cathy now, how difficult the time of the divorce was for her!
“My year is ups and downs. I think like everyone else,” reveals the 35-year-old in an interview with RTL. Even though the separation and the resulting changes in her life were “difficult”, looking back she is obviously happy about it: “To be honest, I think the path to the divorce was the most strenuous thing. After that, no more, because then it’s done.” Cathy is “grateful for everything” and seems to be positive about the future.
There is a new man Cathys She hasn’t lived yet – but she’s ready for a new relationship! “I’m not looking, but I hope to find,” she recently told the broadcaster. When it comes to a new partner, it is particularly important to the entrepreneur that they give each other space: “I wouldn’t want to have someone by my side 24/7.”
