For the first time since all the fuss surrounding royal journalist Omid Scobie’s brand new book Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy’s Fight for Survival, King Charles, Queen Camilla and Princess Kate will appear outside the royal palace walls this week. Despite the controversial rumors and claims of the book, Kate manages to give no glimpse of this and makes an impressive appearance after all the fuss.

The Dutch version of the book recently received quite a bit of publicity, because there was a special ‘error’ in the Dutch translation of Omid Scobie’s book. And not just a small mistake: the Dutch translation mentioned by name which royal asked questions about Archie’s skin color. The eyes of many royalty watchers were focused on our little country last week, and the British press also received this news.
Still, the royal family appeared at a special reception at Buckingham Palace and Princess Kate made an impressive appearance with her dazzling tiara, which was one of Princess Diana’s favorites. The Princess of Wales also stole the show with her beautiful dress by British fashion designer Jenny Packham, and she managed to appear radiant.

New version
The new Dutch version of the book Endgame, about the British royal family, is available in stores from today. Xander Uitgevers withdrew the first edition last week when it turned out that all Dutch copies cheerfully stated who would have been concerned about Archie’s skin color. In the new version, this salient detail – or Charles’ infamous name – has been quietly erased.
