Anyone who is getting married is probably also organizing a fun bachelor party. One last evening where the bride and groom can feel separately single for a while. Not too single of course, but for many a strip club is a good boundary. That’s all well and good, but research has shown that these things are really not done during such a bachelor(ette) party.

Major annoyances during a bachelor party
A bachelor party is a party organized by friends or family of the bride or groom to ‘say goodbye’ to the bachelor life before the bride and groom in question tie the knot. One night of freedom. Although it is often good for the bride and groom to draw up certain rules for such a party so as not to get into arguments before the big day, it is not always fun for guests either.
Made for Moments conducted research into people’s biggest annoyances during a bachelor party. In any case, partygoers (as many as 50.4%) agree: the biggest irritation factor is drug use. Wow! It is understandable that not everyone is looking forward to a long trip during a fun party…
These things are not done
It’s not just about drug use. A price tag that is too high for the party is also something that party goers are more likely to abandon. Many people prefer not to come if a party costs more than 100 euros. Of course, Dutch people wouldn’t be Dutch if they weren’t completely annoyed by the cost: for more than four in ten (42.8%) respondents, a price tag that is too high is a source of annoyance.
People also indicate the following annoyances during the survey:
- 21.6% do not like it if no plan is known.
- 33.4% are annoyed if they don’t know any other guests.
- 27.8% no longer feel as festive if the location is difficult to reach.
- 20.8% do not have to celebrate a party that lasts hours.
- 11.9% hate not sleeping in their own bed.

Well, you can’t take everyone into account and a good bachelor party comes with a price tag. Can you throw together such a great party soon? Then you at least have a list of things to take into account. This way you give the bride and/or groom the best evening of their single lives and you have a fun party to look forward to.
