Since 2005, he can call himself the stepbrother of Princes William and Harry.
Queen Camilla’s two children are rarely in the spotlight. But since their mother married the then Prince Charles in 2005, they can of course call themselves the stepbrothers and sisters of none other than Prince William and Prince Harry. This is what Camilla’s son looks like now!
A daughter and a son
In 2005, King Charles was finally allowed to marry his true love, Camilla Parker Bowles. Both Charles and Camilla have two children. We all know Charles’ sons, of course, but Camilla’s daughter and son are less often in the spotlight. We have already written about Camilla’s daughter Laura, but what does her son Tom actually look like?
Well known in the culinary world
Tom Parker Bowles is now 49 years old, which means he is eight years older than William and ten years older than Harry. He started his career as a publicist. After a while he started working for Tatler as a culinary columnist. Over the years he has built a successful career as a culinary critic and written a number of cookbooks. He is also co-founder of the company Mr Trotter’s Great British Pork Crackling, which sells pork snacks.
Never in public
Tom married Sara Parker Bowles in 2005 (the same year as his mother). Together they have two children: Lola and Freddy. It never really becomes clear what his bond with his stepfamily and in particular his two stepbrothers is like. They are almost never spotted together in public. Tom is also not often seen together in public with his mother.
Coincidentally, however, at the beginning of this month he accompanied his mother to The Queen’s Reading Room Festival, the one-day literary festival organized by Camilla’s eponymous charity: The Queen’s Reading Room. The celebration took place for the second time at Hampton Court Palace, where mother and son were photographed laughing happily.

And Camilla’s daughter-in-law Sara was also present:

sweet words
And what about Tom’s opinion of his stepfather, King Charles? He has nothing negative to say about him. In an interview with The Express in 2015, he put it this way: “Anything you want [als het op ouders aankomt], is that they are happy. My mother is exceptionally happy at the moment. I have always adored my stepfather; he has always been a kind, good and lovely man. A man of warmth, intelligence and humanity.”
