A former butler of the royal family shares his expectations.
As we all know, things have not been going well between William and Harry for some time now. Yet there is apparently still hope that there will one day be reconciliation between the brothers – and with the help of this British royal.

The bond between the Prince of Wales and Duke of Sussex has cooled, to say the least. If we are to believe the stories, the two can’t stand each other at the moment, and it is questionable whether this will ever work out again.
The revelations in Harry’s memoir Spare certainly fueled the rumor mill surrounding the argument. For example, he says in the book that he was once knocked to the ground by his brother after a heated argument got out of hand. According to Harry, William made insulting statements about Meghan. For example, William is said to have called his sister-in-law ‘difficult’ and ‘rude’. Harry responded to these insults that his brother was “parroting the media story,” and then the confrontation escalated.

Now that there are so many stories about the feud, a reconciliation between the brothers does not seem to be in sight. Still, many people are hopeful that the situation surrounding Kate and Charles’ health would prompt the brothers to put their differences aside for a while. Especially now that Harry will most likely be in the UK for an Invictus Games event on May 8.

But how realistic is that expectation? Well, according to former royal butler Grant Harrold, it’s not a crazy thought. “There is a good chance that Harry and William will see each other next month, and anything is possible,” he recently told Sky News Australia. “The king will want the brothers to make amends, so it’s more than likely he’ll play the peacemaker.” Harrold also emphasizes that family means everything to the king, and that he will do everything he can to repair this rift in the family.
Does Harry actually have plans to visit his father and brother? That’s not clear. In any case, we hope that this royal feud will soon come to an end…
