The uncomfortable situations between Joshua and Benjamin from Winter Full of Love are still fresh in our memories. While Joshua was madly in love with Benjamin in the snow, Benjamin thought Joshua was a bit too exaggerated. Fortunately, Joshua can now put his ex-situationship behind him for good, because he has found a new love!
New love
In an interview with the weekly magazine Story, Joshua looks back on his adventure with Benjamin in Switzerland. “I don’t regret giving it my all back then. That’s just who I am. I like to go big, especially when I like someone. And I do that now too,” Joshua shares. He also immediately reveals that he’s already “been on some dates.”
School
Joshua has previously stated that the entire adventure has been a huge learning experience for him. But what exactly has he learned? “What I learned during that period is that I want someone who is determined and can really surprise me,” Joshua explains. “I am now much clearer about what I do and don’t want. Let’s just leave it at that.”
Things have changed thanks to Winter Full of Love
Although Winter Full of Love did not bring Joshua any love, it did bring him something else. Thanks to the program, he got an extra push to pursue his dream. For this reason, Joshua said goodbye to his lunchroom in Amsterdam. “I discovered that I wanted to do something in the media. Before I participated in Winter Vol Liefde, I already had in mind to start a media company,” he explains. However, Joshua has never dared to take this step, until now.
Big dream
“I never thought that my participation would have such a huge impact. It was always my dream,” says Joshua enthusiastically about his desire to enter the world of media. “I once tried to get admitted to drama school, but that didn’t work out. Then I went to hotel school. Now I really want to do something in the media. Maik de Boer coaches me and I’ve already had some interesting conversations No concrete plans have been made yet, so I can’t confirm anything yet. But I’m really looking forward to this new adventure,” Joshua concludes. Who knows, we might see Joshua on TV again soon!
