Spain’s state visit to the Netherlands will take place in two weeks. According to RTL Boulevard, Amalia will also attend the state banquet.
If the information is correct, we will see Amalia wearing a diadem in her own country for the first time. So far we’ve seen her with three different tiaras.

Because certain diadems are only suitable for queens and/or experienced wearers due to their size, many diadems are already lost. I personally have my sights set on the aquamarine diadem, which she could combine with the light blue evening dress from the dinner with the Council of State. Or even better: a new dress from Jan Taminiau, who now lives and works in Spain. Perfect PR for Dutch design.

When Princess Beatrix came of age, her parents gave her the Greek laurel wreath as a gift. How wonderful it would be if Amalia were given this jewel!

The emerald diadem is perfect in size for a young princess. If the color is less than desired, Amalia can have the green stones replaced with pearls.

And there are many more well-known and unknown diadems in the vault that I would very much like to see on the head of the first Princess of Orange.

There are also tiaras that I think she can ignore a bit. The festoon tiara, for example – just like a child’s drawing, if you ask me – and the so-called sunburst diadem (right).
