4X things where you can use olive oil as a cleaning agent

Olive oil is not only good for cooking, but did you know that you can also use it for cleaning? You can clean this with it.

Olive oil for wood

Wooden items can shine again by using this oil. Mix two cups of oil with one cup of vinegar or lemon juice, and apply to surfaces with a soft cloth. Rub the mixture well so that it can distribute well and be absorbed more quickly. Rub the substance over wooden cupboards, chairs, trays or other items and you will notice that they are sparkling clean again, shine and regain a deeper color. The cleanliness is mainly due to the lemon juice or vinegar, the oil ensures that it shines beautifully.

Learn

Do you have a leather chair or sofa, or do you still have a leather jacket hanging? And have they become a bit dull, are there scratches or are they drying out a bit? Put some oil on a cloth and rub it over the leather surface. The leather is nourished again and you will see that it will improve and quickly look shiny again.

Cast iron

You can probably wash dishes with a dishwashing brush and some dishwashing liquid, but you absolutely cannot do this with a cast iron pan. A rule of the pan is that you prepare it well, in order to keep its non-stick coating, the protective layer, good and not damaged. You never clean these with soap, at most a little water (and that is actually a no-go). Therefore, do not make soapy water, but mix some olive oil and sea salt together and use this mixture as a kind of scrub to remove the stuck-on residue from the pan. You will notice that the pan cooks even better over time, and that nothing sticks to the pan. The oil provides the non-stick coating, so you have to clean less.

Specifications

Rub your silver cutlery with olive oil and be amazed at how new it looks. The minor scratches are gone and it looks less dull overall. The oil will also form a protective layer, keeping it beautiful for longer. Just don’t put too much on it, as this will cause the cutlery to quickly slip out of your hands. Use a very small amount and wipe off any excess oil with a soft cloth. Then you will get the best result.
