We know Martijn Krabbé as a cheerful presenter, but this morning Martijn shares a lot less cheerful news. He has been found to have a form of cancer. That is very intense for himself, but especially for his family.
Cancer at Martijn Krabbé
Martijn shares the sad news to his followers in an Instagram post. Humor is a great comfort for Martijn and his family. “This is the hardest for my family,” he wrote in the post. “Luckily I can say that they are strong and even talk about it with humor.” Martijn writes that cancer is no laughing matter, but his family managed to manage it. “With love you actually conquer everything. So anyway, I’m in a good position.”
To deal with
Martijn remains positive. It is sad news, but he still sees plenty of opportunities to get himself treated. However, he is now withdrawing and asking for privacy, which is of course very understandable during such an intense process. “I will get back into the air when we have recovered from the shock,” he writes. Martijn now mainly hopes that he will be left alone a bit. From this we understand that he has not known this news for very long.

It is not entirely clear whether he will also stop all his work. That would of course be an understandable choice. We will still see Martijn in the new season of Buy Without Watching. On Monday, March 11, you can see the first episode at 8:30 PM on RTL4. You can then also watch it back (or watch it ahead) via the Videoland streaming service.
In any case, we wish Martijn and his family a lot of strength.
