“Most people aren’t aware of some simple tips and travel hacks that can save them huge savings”
Do you have to pay attention to the little ones? You’re not the only one. Now that everything is becoming more expensive, savings have to be made on holidays. Fortunately, Skyscanner has compared various travel hacks and has also shown which day is best to book your holiday.
Research results
Skyscanner recently revealed that it’s best to book your trip 24 weeks in advance. The cheapest day to book is also on a Saturday. These results came after the global travel site analyzed millions of bookings against the most popular holiday destinations over the past twelve months. But there’s more! The results differ per destination and month.
- For example, from Amsterdam the cheapest day to travel to Lisbon in August is on a Wednesday, while from Rotterdam it is on a Sunday.
- The best time to book a flight from Amsterdam to New York in December is 27 weeks in advance, while a flight from Amsterdam to Cancun is best booked 47 weeks in advance.
- From Barcelona to Eindhoven the cheapest day to book is Tuesday, while for Ibiza Monday is the cheapest day.
