The newest season of B&B Vol Liefde is in full swing and one of the most talked about characters is without a doubt Albert. This lord of the castle not only has a predilection for tin soldiers (which you absolutely cannot call dolls), but also caused a stir by suddenly leaving the recordings. And that while candidate Sandra was just standing in front of his door! But why did Albert really leave the program?
Sudden Exit: Where Was Albert Really?
Albert claimed to leave the recordings to be with his children for two days, but now it turns out that this was not the truth. In RTL Boulevard, Aran Bade shares the speculations about Albert’s departure. “There are rumors that he simply went with Joyce, because she had to leave for her mommy. He is a daddy, right, maybe he just wanted to be her daddy.”
Are you allowed to just leave as a B&B owner?
But is it actually allowed for the B&B owners to just leave the recordings? According to Aran Bade, it is not: “Sandra took that whole flight and thought everything through ten times in her head and then he says: ‘Well, I’m leaving!’ I think the makers were really angry for a moment or at least thought: how are we going to do this?” If you ask us, what Aran describes sounds logical. The program only allows participants to leave if something really bad has happened. So why was Albert allowed to just leave to supposedly be with his children?
Rumors of misconduct during B&B Vol Liefde
According to De Telegraaf, there is more going on with Albert. For example, there are stories going around that Albert misbehaved quite a bit towards the film crew during the recordings of B&B Vol Liefde. In the newspaper’s podcast, Bernoster says: “I have heard that Albert not only misbehaves with all the women, but that they also had to stop filming regularly, because he is such a tyrant. I have heard that from several sources.” What would Albert do then? Well, Bernoster says the following about this: “Running after production people, having crew members cry to him. That kind of thing”. Bernoster thinks he has an explanation for Albert’s behavior: “He may not tolerate any contradiction. He is the lord and master and the man. He is the man on the monkey rock.”
