I decided to make a short video of it: what does my daily hair routine look like?
First and foremost I prep my hair for styling. I make sure there are no knots in my hair and comb it well with a bamboo comb.
Even though I no longer use heat on my hair (or only very sporadically), I still want the curls to stay nice in my hair. I make sure my hair is dry, but the moisture from the styling spray ensures that the curls sit better in my hair. Plus, this dupe from Olaplex provides my hair with extra care.
Then I twist my hair around my curl headband (sorry, I have no idea what those things are called) and secure it. By the way, buy one that is flat on top, it’s much nicer!
