The queen visited two social projects in the province.
Queen Máxima has a busy schedule this week. On Tuesday, she visited the calling center of the Everything OK? Support line in Nijmegen, where she talked to the young people and volunteers involved in this organization. A trip to Zeeland was then planned on Wednesday and she appeared there – as always – in style.
Foundation in Goes
The royal visited two initiatives in Zeeland that receive support from the Oranje Fonds. She started her day in Goes, where she visited the ElkeMooi Foundation. The foundation provides personal attention and grooming for everyone who is financially vulnerable. In the building, which they call ‘the living room of Goes’, people can, for example, have their make-up done for free or get a haircut at a discount.
Here she talks to a woman who is currently undergoing a hairdressing treatment in the salon and talks to the founders about their working methods and future plans for the organization.
On to Middelburg
After her visit to Goes, Queen Máxima continues her trip to Middelburg, where she visits the HerstelTalent Foundation. Here she was festively received by a group of people who were waiting for the queen. This is how Máxima received flowers and a self-made gift from the bystanders:
…and of course the queen was photographed extensively.
The HerstelTalent Foundation offers support to people who have lost control of their lives due to circumstances. Through education, courses and individual guidance, these people are helped to reconnect with society.
Completely in blue
For the occasion, Queen Máxima dressed herself in blue from head to toe. She wore a chic blue midi dress with a draped effect at the neck and three-quarter sleeves. Over this, according to Fashion Queen Máxima, the royal wore a blue-gray cape coat from Alicia Audrey X Natan that you can wear on both sides. To keep with the color theme of the day, she chose to wear the blue side up yesterday.
She completed her outfit with a pair of blue suede boots. These gems are a great favorite of our queen and are therefore regularly pulled out of the closet by her. They were designed by Sergio Rossi, the father of her favorite shoe designer Gianvito Rossi. As a finishing touch, Máxima opted for some gold jewelry, which matched the blue color perfectly. In short: the queen looked the part again!
