The heir apparent accompanied her parents to the annual military Easter ceremony at the Royal Palace in Madrid.
It’s no ordinary Saturday for Princess Leonor. For the very first time, the Princess of Asturias accompanied her parents, King Felipe and Queen Letizia, during the military Easter ceremony. Complete in military uniform.
First Pascua Military
When you, as a royal, reach the official status of adult, there are suddenly a lot of ceremonies involved. Ceremonies that you, as heir to the throne, certainly cannot turn your nose up at. Since Princess Leonor has officially become an adult, we have seen her at a number of official occasions. The princess is expected to join King Felipe and Queen Letizia during the Pascua Militar today.

The annual ceremony marks the new military year and pays tribute to the armed forces, which this year was also attended by the Princess of Asturias. And even though she is only 18 years old, Leonor did this with verve. She exuded nothing but confidence in her military uniform.
Military training
Leonor’s choice of clothing comes as no surprise. In September, the Crown Princess enrolled at the General Military Academy of Zaragoza, where she will undergo military training for three years. After she completes her freshman year, she will likely attend the Naval Academy in Spain. She will probably spend her final year training at the General Air Force Academy.

By the way, Leonor was not the only one who took out her military ensemble for the occasion. Felipe also wore his military uniform, complete with red sash and glittering medals.
The fashion fluent Letizia opted for a classic and chic look for the occasion. The queen wore a high-necked silk skirt and blouse, and paired it with a simple pointed heel.
