He needs some rest at the moment! The singer Olaf Malolepski (77) was a member of one of the most successful German hit bands: The Flippers! After the group disbanded in 2011, the musician embarked on his solo career and has since been known under the stage name “Olaf the Flipper”. But now he has to take a short break for the first time: Olaf had to cancel his concert at short notice!
The pop singer addressed his fans on Instagram with sad news. “Hello friends, I’m so sorry. Unfortunately, I have to postpone today’s performance due to illness. I was so looking forward to seeing you,” writes the 77-year-old and adds: “I think this is the first time in my career, that I can’t go to a performance. The guilty conscience is huge and I’m so sorry.”
Now the “We say thank you” interpreter wants to rest first so that he can catch up on his concert next February. “Now it’s time for ginger tea and chicken soup. Please don’t be angry with me! Your Olaf,” the musician tells his fans with a heavy heart on social media.
