Today is not an easy day for Jenny Frankhauser (31). In December 2019, the former jungle camp winner suffered a serious blow of fate: her beloved grandfather Gerhard died at the age of 78. Iris Klein’s daughter (56) is still struggling with the loss to this day. Today is the fourth anniversary of his death: to mark the occasion, Jenny is now dedicating touching words to her late grandfather.
The 31-year-old posted a nostalgic black and white snapshot on Instagram in which her beloved grandpa Gerhard smiled into the camera. “I think of you. Always. […] “Today is the day you traveled to see your son (Papa) and our mouse (Priscilla) and I really hope that you are together,” reveals Jenny. The pregnant woman is looking forward to seeing him again at some point and then saying goodbye to him to tell her life: “I love you, the coolest and best grandpa in the universe. We miss you,” she added.
Already during her time in Jungle camp In 2018, the influencer repeatedly emphasized how important her grandparents were to her. She and Jenny had even lived under the same roof. When his granddaughter emerged as the winner at the end of the season, Grandpa Gerhard was really proud in the RTL interview: “What surprised us: You got stronger day by day. That was really great!”
