You can’t beat the glamor in Sweden.
We thought that the Swedish glamor would be over for a while after Sunday, but nothing could be further from the truth. After the presentation of the Nobel Prizes and a subsequent dinner this weekend, another dinner took place yesterday – and that was of course reason enough for even more tiaras.
Nobel Prizes
The Nobel Prize ceremony took place in Stockholm last Sunday. An occasion that has been organized every year since 1901, and which the Zwoyals naturally use to put their best glamor foot forward. This year it was a success again: Queen Silvia and Princesses Victoria and Sofia each appeared on Sunday in an enchanting look with a tiara.
However, the glamor was not over after the weekend: the Zwoyals made another appearance yesterday and attended a chic dinner. What was served? Foie gras, saddle of hearts and undoubtedly more dubious game dishes, but back to a much more important subject: tiaras.
Glamorous looks
Queen Silvia appeared in the dress that she also wore to the wedding of Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia, and combined it with a playful clutch from Judith Leiber in the shape of a seashell. The Leuchtenberg Sapphire Tiara adorned her head.
Victoria, determined to continue the upward trend of her appearance on Sunday, made her appearance in a white top combined with a floral skirt by Camilla Thulin. The Connaught Tiara, a present brooch and more dazzling jewels completed her look.
We don’t know who won prizes during the ceremony, but one thing is certain: fashion-wise Sofia was the winner of the evening. The princess appeared in a beautiful, red satin gown by Ida Lanto, which she paired with her Christian Louboutin clutch. Just like on Sunday, her wedding tiara adorned her head – how could it be otherwise?
Now we think that Swedish glamor is over for the time being, but with the Zwoyals you can never be sure. Anyway, when the time comes again, we will of course be ready to analyze the glamor content!
