Gil Ofarim (41) has said goodbye to his signature look! Visually, the singer is best known for his long hair. In recent months, however, he has attracted attention less with his music or his appearance than with his defamation trial. He had accused a hotel employee of anti-Semitism, but then admitted in court that he had made up the story. Since then there has been Gil withdrawn from public view. But now he has been seen again – with a new hairstyle!
There are photos in which the former The Masked Singer participant is hardly recognizable. Instead of his long mane, he now has a cheeky short haircut. He is dressed casually, trudging through the snow in a checked shirt, jeans, coat and winter boots. Three more snapshots also show how Gil makes phone calls, clears snow from his car and carries winter tires there. He later drove to the workshop to change the tires. The pictures are said to have been taken in his hometown of Munich.
He was convicted of lying Gil not yet convicted. Instead, he has to pay 10,000 euros within six months, which will go to the Jewish Community of Leipzig and the sponsoring association of the Wannsee Conference House. The proceedings for defamation, false suspicion and fraud were dismissed.
