It wasn’t that long ago that Netflix came out with the new hit rom-com of our time. You guessed it, we are of course talking about the series Nobody Wants This. In the series we see Kirsten Bell and Adam Brody portray a beautiful love story. We were so excited to see the episodes, because the series is bingeable. Then we had to wait for an announcement of a new season… and now it has arrived!

Hit series Nobody Wants This
The series-watching world was in an uproar, because a new series has arrived that is really, really fun. In the Netflix series Nobody Wants This we follow Joanne (Kristen Bell, from The Good Place and the voice of Gossip Girl), who, together with her sister, has a podcast in which literally everything is discussed openly and honestly by the ladies. During an evening at a mutual friend’s house, Joanne and Noah (Adam Brody, from The OC and Gilmore Girls) meet, and sparks immediately fly off the screen. The two fall madly in love, but this is not without its share of bumps. Noah recently ended his relationship and is on his way to becoming Chief Rabbi. Joanne has special traits and tries hard to hide them from Noah. Additionally, Joanne is not Jewish, something that is a big issue for the Jewish community and Noah’s family.

We understand that the series is so popular! In addition to the two super handsome protagonists (sorry, but we still swoon over Adam Brody), the story and the humor are something we haven’t seen much in recent years. As you may have thought before, they don’t make films like they made in 2006 anymore. And a romantic comedy that isn’t too cringe is exactly what we needed. More like Everbody Wants This.
Second season Nobody Wants This
If you haven’t seen Nobody Wants This yet, we don’t want to spoil anything for you. The ending was a nice ending, but we would still like to see the story continue. I mean, what’s going to happen between Joanne’s sister and Noah’s brother…? We need more! Well, all our prayers have been heard, because Netflix announced the arrival of a second season a few days ago. The Netflix Headquarters apparently also heard all the commotion surrounding the series, and they quickly added a second season. And fortunately, because we can’t wait anymore. Well, let’s watch season 1 again.
