Barely prepared for Expedition Robinson
In conversation with Sergio Hasselbaink, Julie Reinders and Rikkie Kollé, Farja honestly admitted that he had barely prepared for his participation. “I went to the gym three times to improve my fitness, but that’s it.” Yet he managed to switch the real switch on the island and afterwards. And while he has also lost quite a few kilos! “Expedition really made me stop drinking alcohol. Completely.”
Sergio Hasselbaink is about his vulture
Although Farja has sworn off alcohol, his fellow expedition mate Sergio clearly thought differently. After returning home he immediately opened a beer… Bad idea! Spoiler alert: it went completely wrong and it made him throw up quite a bit. Yikes. In the meantime, Farja has taken the plunge and stopped drinking alcohol 100%. Major respect for that move!
Tamara Elbaz beaten up
Farja may be completely zen after Expedition, but life looks a lot less chill for one of his BBFs. Tamara Elbaz, one of Farja’s closest friends, has experienced something terrible. She was beaten up in front of her own door by two guests, while her son was standing there. These are two minors aged 15 and 17. The police quickly arrested them, but because they are so young, they do not share whether they already have a criminal record. Police say it was a targeted action and they are taking the matter seriously. But guess what? The perpetrators are already free. Tamara can’t believe it. “It is really bizarre that after such a violent attack they are allowed to go back on the streets, and then also go home with a coach. It seems as if crime pays in this country,” she wrote in disbelief on her Instagram.
Impact is great
Tamara is still suffering from the attack. Due to the blows to her head, she has memory and concentration problems. And she doesn’t feel safe at all. “I still live every day with the consequences of what happened.” She continued: “My lawyer is in contact with the Public Prosecution Service today to discuss the situation and determine how to proceed,” Tamara finally shared. “I hope there will be a solution soon and that there will be light at the end of the tunnel. Because that uncertainty is really horrible 😣.”
