Alice from B&B Vol Liefde has contact with Albert: ‘I was recently in his house’

We’ve all seen the moment Alice left B&B Vol Liefde because she didn’t feel that special connection with the lord of the castle Albert. But now that the entire season is on television and Alice has seen everything again, she has put her thoughts in order. In a nice conversation with RTL Boulevard, she openly shares how she now thinks about her adventure and her departure and what she actually thinks of Albert.

Time to leave B&B Vol Liefde

“I felt it was time to go, and I’m glad I made that decision. The way I worded it was exactly how I felt,” Alice says of her departure. Despite her decision, she still had doubts at the time whether it was the right choice. “I really wanted it to be a real match. Albert and I share a lot of passions and have a lot of common interests. But emotionally, we really weren’t a match. Sometimes you can want it as much as you want, but if it’s not, it’s not,” she explains. After watching all the episodes, it became increasingly clear to Alice that she and Albert really couldn’t be a couple. “Now I know for sure: we’re really not a match,” she says, laughing.

Visit in the Netherlands

But don’t worry, Alice and Albert are still friends. “I recently visited his new home in the Netherlands. I gave him some styling tips, which also connected us during my stay. We share a love for beautiful things and stuff,” says Alice.

Friendship forever

And although there was no romantic connection, the two still see each other. “We still text regularly and I consider him a nice friend that I have gained,” says Alice. She also makes it clear that her image of Albert has not changed. “I have known him as ‘Ab’ for thirty years. My children visit him every year. Within our family, it is about ‘Ab’, not Albert. I did not know him well before the program and have gotten to know him better now, but he is still ‘Ab’ to me.”

Albert <3 Joyce

It looks like Albert will end up with his ‘puppy’ Joyce. Joyce already seemed to reveal this in an Instagram post. By the way, it’s not only Joyce who secretly hints at a sequel with Albert. Even RTL is already throwing away some sparkles in the editing! In one shot we see two people who look a lot like Joyce and Albert, cuddling and kissing at what looks like an airport. So there must be more in the air for this duo.
