If you watch B&B Vol Liefde (and if not, you’re missing out, so we definitely recommend you watch it), you know that there are some special types in the program. Not only do some people sometimes behave quite special, some also have a ‘special’ name. Like Thijz, who has a B&B in France. But is Thijz really that honest about who he really is? Well, it turns out that Thijz is hiding something about his identity.

It’s a name you don’t see very often, Thijz. It stands out immediately and it has something ‘tough’, exactly what suits him as a person. With his deep voice and thick moustache, the name Thijz is written all over him. But Thijz keeps a secret from the viewers. Thijz is not actually called Thijz at all.
Real name of Thijz
It turns out that this tough Thijz doesn’t have such a quirky name as everyone thought. His real name is ‘Matthijs’, with an S instead of a Z. This name may be a little less tough than Thijz, but that doesn’t make him a less tough person. In fact, it’s actually quite cool that he changed his name to this one!
Participants for Thijz
Thijz has now had two women over in the program. Ammarie (who is Paul’s sister from the previous season), came first and she has held out the longest so far. Still, Thijz did not feel the ultimate click and he did not want her to ‘get in the way’ of getting to know the other women. Ammarie felt very sad about this, but packed her things with her head held high. Helena’s adventure is also over. She was not there long and it came as a bolt from the blue to her that she had to go home. She understood why Thijz did not feel the click.
