Princess Kate ‘enthusiastic’ about major project despite illness

Good news for the princess?

It has been a while since Princess Kate stopped working after she underwent surgery and was given the devastating news that she has a form of cancer. Since then, she has been treated behind closed doors and does not appear in public. But that doesn’t mean your highness is standing still!

Life project

It is no secret that the Princess of Wales likes to work for the youngest generations. With her Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood, she undertakes all kinds of charity projects for young mothers and their offspring. In recent years, she has regularly appeared at maternity wards, crèches and schools, where Her Highness could chat with those present.

Of course, a lot has to happen behind the scenes for such a charitable organization, and so Kate regularly had her nose in the figures or at the conference table. Even now that she is being treated, the princess appears to have been fully committed to her life project.

Enthusiastic princess

For example, a major report was published today by Kate’s royal organization, for which they joined forces with, among others, the accountants from Deloitte and eight major British companies. According to their research, investing in the younger generations could generate £45.5 billion for the UK economy over the years.

Christian Guy, the director of the Center for Early Childhood, provided a brief update on Kate. “I know, because I informed the Princess of this, that she is extremely grateful to the members of the Task Force, who have made so much progress with this work over the past year,” he said. “The impact and work of her Center for Early Childhood continues as she recovers,” he added.

The court staff of Kensington Palace has warned that people should not expect too much from the Welsh princess, reports ITV. A spokesperson stated that this update does not mean that Kate is back to work. For example, her projects are ‘always in progress’, and that has ‘no changed’ over the past five months.

“The Princess of Wales was the driving force behind the Taskforce, but this should not be seen or referred to as Her Royal Highness returning to her duties,” the spokesperson said.

Clearly! Fingers crossed that Her Highness continues to recover well, so that she can soon show herself again at projects around her beloved organization.
