RTL is completely done with all the drama surrounding B&B Vol Liefde and has decided to implement a media freeze. Why? Well, because in the first weeks that the show was on TV, all sorts of things were leaked. Former participant Walter gives his opinion on these new measures in an interview with Shownieuws.

In the first weeks of B&B Vol Liefde we have of course already seen and heard a lot. For example, René told us that he has a new love and threw mud at Iris, even before he had finished the program for us viewers. Charlotte, who was visiting Mike in Spain, also seemed to talk too much. And then of course we have Malgosia who was in prison. Drama all around!
Tantra Walter disagrees with media freeze
Tantra-Walter understands the media freeze, but does not fully agree with it. He says: “On the one hand I can understand that RTL has come up with a media freeze, because a lot is coming at you as a participant. On the other hand, it is also part of it. When the program was running, I did not accept calls. At one point I also turned off my social media for three weeks, because there were really a lot of reactions. I understand it, but it is also part of it, right?”
RTL bans participants from talking to media
Although Walter’s reaction is quite logical, RTL thinks completely differently about it. The channel forbids the participants to talk to the media at this time. Earlier this season, RTL also responded to the many hate reactions that some candidates receive: “We at RTL never approve of hate reactions and therefore always ask everyone to realize that these are real people. These brave people open their hearts and B&B to the whole of the Netherlands and that is more admirable!”
Tantra Walter doesn’t understand nickname
By the way, did you know that Walter doesn’t understand his nickname ‘tantra-walter’? The B&B owner claims to have never given a tantra retreat. According to Walter, this nickname came about because the program framed him that way. Although he did see the humor in it.
