From Angel Dust to connective tissue massage: these are Rikkie’s beauty favorites!

Favorite perfume
“Angel Dust from Fugazzi is a very nice unisex scent. I like that the scent lingers for a long time.”
My skincare routine
“I sometimes suffer from blemishes, so I always try to look for the perfect skincare routine that prevents breakouts. Sometimes I just leave my forehead alone by applying as little product as possible to it.”
“Every morning and evening I apply the Sebupure and the BeYOUty serum – both from hannah. They are a great base for your make-up during the day, but nice and moisturizing in the evening.”
The perfect daily look
“When I’m short on time or have to get up early, my routine consists of two steps. One: I brush my eyebrows. To ensure that they stay in place, I spray a little hairspray on the brush. And two: Charlotte Tilbury’s Wonderglow, which gives a glow and provides a little bit of coverage. If I have a little more time, I apply a bronzer from Anastasia Beverly Hills and the Rosy Glow blush from Dior, you know, the bright pink one. When it comes to eye shadow, I like nude-like shades, and I also usually apply a nude slash pink shade to my lips: the color Kidman’s Kiss by Charlotte Tilbury.”
A night out
“I like eye looks with brown tones, and stay away from black lines around my eyes. If you are looking for a nice lip liner: the one from NYX Cosmetics is not expensive and works great. I also enjoy experimenting with contours, for example I like to enhance my nose contours with make-up when I go out for a night.”
To a deserted island
“Sunburn! Otherwise I’ll be a lobster in no time.”
Favorite body product
“I use a body butter in both winter and bare-leg season. The one from The Ritual of Ayurveda line from Rituals is nice. I have been using it for a long time, and a pot lasts a very long time.”
As long as your hair’s nice
“I have now entered a Moroccanoil phase – I use the shampoo as well as the conditioner and dry shampoo from this brand. And I have a hair oil from Kérastase that I really like. I try to wash my hair once a week at most, and if it gets greasy, I deal with it by wearing it up for a day.”
Once every six weeks
“I have a facial treatment with Hannah once every six weeks. My skin is then thoroughly cleansed, I get a connective tissue massage, the whole shebang. After such a treatment my skin sometimes turns a bit red, but that goes away fairly quickly. Hannah’s experts also give me advice about the products that are good for my skin.”
My beauty tip
“People may have known this tip for a long time, but I only learned this a year ago: if you warm your eyelash curler with a hair dryer, the curl will take much better.”
Nail salon
“I never wear my nails undone. Every few weeks I go to my nail stylist in Breda. It varies each time which shape, length and color I go for. Sometimes I wear them a little longer, which I like too. I think on the spot what I feel like doing.”
