Intense: This new B&B participant has suddenly passed away

Every week we wait for the new episodes of B&B Vol Liefde. We love it and we can’t get enough of it. In Belgium this love program (where it is called B&B Zoekt Lief) can also be seen on TV. The channel VRT, where this program can be seen, unfortunately brings out very sad news about one of the participants of the program.

B&B participant passed away

Kurt, the participant who traveled to Curacao to get to know B&B owner Patricia better, has suddenly passed away. The VRT reports that he died of heart failure. That is terrible news. Despite Kurt’s passing, the family has chosen to broadcast the episodes with Kurt in them. The first episode with Kurt in it was broadcast this Monday evening.

The channel reports: “It is with sadness that we inform you of the unexpected passing of Kurt, one of our beloved participants from B&B Zoekt Lief. On behalf of VTM, we would like to express our sincere condolences and support to his family and friends.”

Patricia

Patricia, the woman Kurt eventually traveled to Curacao for, also speaks out: “It is of course terrible to hear that someone died so young. Kurt was always very sweet and respectful. He was also very caring, he was someone I liked to have around me,” she said. “It was always fun with Kurt, he occasionally challenged the other participants and teased them. Kurt created the atmosphere.”

Previous commotion in the program

Earlier, there was also a stir in this Belgian love program. One of the participants appeared to have been convicted of indecent assault. The candidates must state before their participation whether they have a criminal record. According to the channel and the production company, the participant would have lied about this.

Program in the Netherlands

Meanwhile, the love show continues in the Netherlands and we are enjoying it. In the Dutch version, too, some juice came to outside. For example, Malgosia, the Polish participant who traveled to Spain for Albert, would have a criminal record. In the Netherlands, too, participants must report whether they have a criminal record. Malgosia would ‘stay in the limited security institution for several months, at various locations’.
