Ah!
In 2019 it was the talk of town: Adele had undergone quite a transformation in a short time. The beautiful singer lost no less than fifty kilos. Since then, she has enjoyed inspiring others with her achievements and regularly shares tips for losing weight in a healthy way.
Assumptions
Adele has always been beautiful, but as of 2019 she is feeling better than ever – literally and figuratively. Her transformation attracted a lot of attention, and of course we all wanted to know how the singer lost so much weight. Because incorrect assumptions were made – it was said that she had lost weight in an unhealthy way – Adele decided to clarify her weight loss journey.
Sports schedule
Adele revealed to British Vogue in 2021 that she has been following a pretty tough exercise schedule to get fitter. “So I do my weights in the morning, then I normally go for a walk or boxing in the afternoon, and then I do my cardio in the evening,” she said.
Mental health
Adele emphasized at the time that losing weight was not her primary goal: she wanted to feel better mentally, and losing weight was a nice bonus. “Exercising just made me feel better,” the singer said. “It was never about losing weight, it was always about getting strong and giving myself more time every day without my phone, which I was quite addicted to.”
Rosé and big macs
She says that Adele lost about fifty kilos not only thanks to herself, but also to the professional help she received. The singer has never ventured into rigorous dieting methods. Instead, she ‘simply’ started living a healthier life. And that also included the occasional cheat meal. “If I needed wine, I just wanted to drink Whispering Angel rosé. And let me honestly say that I have actually eaten a Big Mac every now and then. It has to remain fun.”
Good intentions
Adele recently revealed that she has made new fitness resolutions. “I plan to start working on strengthening my muscles,” she reportedly told her fans. “I’ve done that before, so I know it will work. But then I got lazy and let it slide. Now I want to become fitter than ever. Next New Year’s Eve I will do a backflip without back pain. That is going to work!”
